What does a musician’s life look like

when they’re not on stage?

read The Journal of an Indie Artist to find out

So many artists only show their persona, so you’re left seeing an idol and not a person. The truth is, it’s hard to be vulnerable. We’re all imperfect, and as an artist that’s an especially hard pill to swallow.

But I want to break the barrier and demystify the music-making process, to show the simple, imperfect, fellow human behind the production.

I’m Aimee. I make indie-folk music, but I’m also the wife of a musician, a new mom, and a disciple of Jesus. And I’m on a mission to show you the side of music-making life that exists outside the polished performance.

So if you like indie-folk music and if you want to see our music-making family doing our everyday thing, check out my monthly newsletter, The Journal of an Indie Artist below. I’d love to have you join along!

for my fellow artists…

  • Feeling stuck on your music project?

  • Are you trapped in overwhelm?

  • Do you wish you could hit “pause” and start over?

This will help :)
